1. I really need to get an underwater camera!!! I was at the pool with my friend and desparately wanted one!! Capturing the bubbles and coolness... Can you take regular photos with an underwater camera? If so, I'll probably wear a camera around my neck everyday ;D



2. I love making "remixes" of songs where I change the lyrics... I did this one for "Five Years Time" by Noah and the Whale. I've also done "Geek in the Pink" and "Runaway Love." Oh yeah, and "Girlfriend." Lol... Here's the original -----> Clicky!

3. Tis a super-long post... But it's to make up for the month I'll be away! So it's justified... :p

4. "Across the Universe" by the Beatles is such a pretty song... I discovered it through the movie of the same name... (Go watch it! It's great!) I loooove how the first photo fits the lyric perfectly!!

5. I'm leaving for Beijing tomorrow and it'll be a month before I'm back... Well see you in August. Hope it'll be a good goodbye party... 5 weeks. 2 years. We need a time countdown for all these things... Aha.

Is it a solar fever?

Hmm... Of Montreal stuff... This video really creeps me out. Like... the beginning is kind of cool, but then all these weird parts morphing into each other and everything... It reminds me of the scene in A Separate Peace where Leper ran away from the war and got all paranoid... Imagining men to be women and chair arms turning into human limbs and stuff... >.<

Sooo.... they're a pretty odd band. But I like them nonetheless. Like... "Requiem For O.M.M." is nice... it should be a goodbye song for a certain someone. "I never, ever stop wondering/Wondering if you still think of us/I don't need a photograph 'cause you never left my mind." :) I dedicate it to you.

By the way, how do you underline stuff if there isn't a "u" button? I see the "b" and "i" for bold and italic...

Oh wow. I am drenched to the bone.



Our water balloon fight was sooo confusing with all this "Capture-the-Flag" stuff, but then we just decided to have a flat-out war at the playground... The black team was so vicious... Like dumping whole buckets of water! It was really fun, for the briefest moment...

...Because our team ran out of water balloons right away! :p Like... my friend's team already pre-filled all their balloons... They had like two full buckets and we barely had one! We were so un-advantaged... Lol. Then the weather was so bipolar, with sunshine one moment, then rain...

We were about to fight some more when the raindrops fell down on us. Then it started hailing, for goodness' sake... Aaaaah!!!! Can you say "RUN"??? Each drop was like... the size of two quarters or something! Ginormous... But at least I said goodbye to my friend before she left for France... I hope she'll have a good life there!

I definitely danced in the rain today.

P.S. END OF SCHOOL!!!! Doesn't really feel like it though... School was such a waste of time! I felt like a nomad, roaming the halls... So I should really take a shower now before everything around me gets wet >.<

This Tornado Loves You

No more finals!!! No more homework!!

That's a relief... I was so glad to be done with my algebra one... But I ended up with a C for the year anyway. It's so annoying how algebra is bringing everything down! I have an A in everything else... I should've taken regular! But whatever... I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of school though. Time goes by terribly fast...

So my friend came over and we made brownie cookies! It's quite fun stumbling for food recipes... You should try it sometime. So I didn't really get the concept of brownie cookies at first, but they're actually cookies... but made using brownie mix! And we made a goodbye card for my friend who's moving to Paris... I'm going to be sad when she leaves...

Today's such a surprise-y kind of day... Then my hippie friend came over on her skateboard and said she was going to skateboard all the way to Fair Oaks Mall, which is like... 2 hours away from my house... She's so brave. I would get lost immediately! But she started skateboarding in school and it was so cool. I wish I took a video! Next thing you know, it's going to be on America's Best Home Videos or something... Lol.

Friday is going to be... fun-ish.. I'm going to see Up in 3D this time (yeah, again... I like that movie!) with my friend, and going to the mall... But then I'm seeing someone for almost the last time. Well at least I'll get to see my two friendship bracelets... yay! The pattern must be very unique... :)

J'ai eu un quatre-vingt onze dans mon examen finale pour le français... Je ne crois pas! J'ai pensé que je recevoir au moins quatre-vingt quatorze... Mais c'est d'accord. Hmm... j'ai reçu un B+ dans presque tout mes examens finales... excepté dans l'algèbre, bien sûr...

Flying High

HIGH ALTITUDE (ABOVE 3500 FEET): Add 1/2 cup flour to dry brownie mix. Increase water to 1/3 cup. Bake as directed above.

Those are directions from the Pillsbury brownie mix... I've always wanted to bake in an airplane and follow the "high altitude" directions!

But I asked my friend about it and she said "high altitude" probably meant people living in the mountains or something... She says on airplanes, the people just microwave the desserts (and that's why airplane food sucks!). C'est vrai?! Well, probably... But still.

I still think the "high altitude" means for airplanes though... I mean, above 3500 feet? But maybe for those people living up there in the
Alps or something too...

Miracles

-I stayed afterschool and miraclously finished my ceiling tile with my partner!!! I'm so happy! It has Alice and Cinderella at a Mad Tea Party (or celebrating their un-birthday, perhaps) and swirlies in the sky... Maybe I can take a picture of it tomorrow!

-The French final was 150 questions... wow. But it was pretty easy... I hope I did well!

-My pineapple upside-down cake flipped perfectly into the dish... yayness.

-The skies are beautiful outside.

-And I'm going to watch Alice in Wonderland today.

-Excited at receiving a very special friendship bracelet!!

It's really cool to see other people's blogs... but I never really made one 'til now, 'cause I usually keep a real journal... But my friend told me to make one, so here it is!
