Tumblr & goodbyes

http://hyperoverdose.tumblr.com

My latest project.

Speaking of projects, I better start working on my tree journal again. I've been slacking for about... 3 months? I blame it on the snow.

Goodbye blog, for awhile!
A busy busy life + Polyvore + tumblr = a miniature migration.
:)

'Til next time!

Mon rêve...

Howl's Moving Castle!!!
I really want to rewatch that movie now.
Currently during lunch, my friend is showing "Fight Club." :D
I'm excited to watch it!
Films are so good.

On a side note, I have no idea how to use a tumblr.
Yeah... I got inspired by someone. I like looking at pretty pictures.
And this song is stuck in my head...

"Your sweet moon-beam, the smell of you in every single dream I dream
I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided
Who's one of my kind."

What do you do when you miss someone?

3/13.

I'm so happy I'm done with my SATs.
It was kinda like a reunion 'cause I saw my friends from other schools there! Funny place to have a reunion whilst taking SATs!
It went by pretty quickly, actually. But I was panicking a bit 'cause I started to run out of time on the writing sections. I feel like I did alright on the reading section though, so I calmed down... I don't know about math at all. I guess we'll just wait until April 1.

April Fools'. How appropriate, right? I bet they'll send me a letter saying I got 2400 and then... "April Fools!'' Aha. That would be really funny, but too bad College Board won't do that. April 1 is also the date for HSD! Aaaaah. -deep breath-

Today's such a relaxed day.
I finally went shopping with my friend after about a month and we completely forgot where all the stores were at first... And then Church tomorrow! I've never been so excited.
So sequins are back! At Forever 21 and all these stores, sequins were everywhere. No kidding! I'd like something with just a scatter of sparkle, but nothing like those miniskirts made entirely from gold sequins... bling much? And then those matte sequins that aren't shiny at all... what's the point? I really liked this... flapper skirt though. It was black with all this fringe on it and when you move, it moves with you. WHOOOOoooooosh! Too bad it's kinda expensive. I like 1920s' fashion though. Anyway...
It's frustrating when they don't have something in your size.
By the time we were done, it was dark outside and raining. It was so nice.
Daylight savings time means if I sleep at midnight, it's actually 11.
I'm such a rebel, staying up so late...!

Life in pictures

A playing card clip I made awhile ago. I wore it for the opening of Alice in Wonderland :)
Special occasion! Everyone should try making this; it's super-easy and fun, and you'll get alot of compliments on it!

My assignment book. It's much more vibrant in real-life though... I think the colours got muted as I took the picture. The quote/song lyric in the speech bubble is updated every quarter!
My friend does it for me, and we collaborate on the rest [mainly her though!]. For 3rd quarter, "Relax, take it easy" comes from the song of the same title by MIKA! It's such a good reminder for me, especially as SATs and alot of tests are coming up >.<

Little doodles by moi.

My friend and me started drawing on little index cards for each other in physics. We waste so much time in that class... aha.

The little girl's left arm is demented... poor her! Oops :p
A song lyric from "The Show" ~Lenka.

I draw during almost every period of my A days.
I need to in order to get through the day.

Alice & Movies!

WOW.

A long-need update!

So I saw Alice in Wonderland (the Tim Burton version, of course) on opening night.
My thoughts? The scenery was really beautiful, and really reflected the kind of dark/haunting/yet beautiful Tim Burton feel... I was SO excited when the Mad Hatter appeared at the Tea Party! Johnny Depp played the role so well. The ending part with slaying the Jabberwocky was a bit... overdone and unneccessary... I mean, the battle scene as the climax has been done so many times before. But I really liked the movie's actual ending, with the Smoking Caterpillar turning into a butterfly! Overall, I really enjoyed it. I think I will buy Alice on DVD when it comes out! Alice's futterwacken [sp?] dance at the end was such a funny sign of rebellion x] There is so much Alice merchandise now; I really want a new Alice t-shirt...

So I've been watching movies after getting home from school. Movies DO take up alot of time, but I usually come home and waste time on the Internet anyway... "An Education" is such an amazing movie!! From the beginning to the end, everything was so perfect, and I love Jenny's accent. What else can I say... you HAVE to watch it. It reminded of me of Lolita, Breakfast At Tiffany's, and (500) Days Of Summer... :) Carey Mulligan is so pretty! With her short hair, she almost looks like Mia Wasiakowska...

And I finally watched "Spirited Away" for the FIRST TIME today. Yeah... I've never seen it before! I kept on putting it off for some reason; I meant to watch it during the summer... well. Chihiro and Haku are so cute. I love her voice actress! No wonder everyone loves this film. It's just so, so... classic. The pigs were kinda disturbing though... they reminded me of "Animal Farm." And have you noticed that there's always a fat, blubbery sloppy creature in Miyazaki films? Like... the witch in Howl's Moving Castle and No-Face when he eats all the people... but anyways, Hayao Miyazaki films are always pretty amazing. Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, etc! Maybe I'll go on a movie binge...

SATs on Saturday.
Then comes shopping and fun stuff. I can't wait.

Charlie.

I love "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."
=]

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."

On an unrelated note, TWO DAYS UNTIL THE NEW ALICE IN WONDERLAND MOVIE COMES OUT!!! :D

Who else is watching it on opening night? [or midnight premiere?]
